Wyoming Adult Education (AE) offers academic instruction, college and career readiness skills, English as a Second Language classes for English Language Learners, and much more.  AE focuses on strengthening basic reading, writing, and math skills for adults. Enhancement of basic academic skills prepares students to transition into employment, to skills training, and prepare for post-secondary education. We are here to help you become college and career ready. 

Effective January 1, 2014 the new High School Equivalency Certificate in Wyoming will include a choice of three tests: HiSET, GED 2014, and later this year the TASC is expected to be offered.

The Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) was passed July 22, 2014.  The is the reauthorization of the Workforce Investment Act which is the Federal funding stream and authorization for Adult Education in Wyoming.

WIOA - Wyoming Unified State Plan

A public comment period has commenced for Wyoming's Unified State Plan under the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA).  Public officials, stakeholders and the members of the public are invited to comment.  The Unified State Plan was posted by the Wyoming Workforce Development Council Tuesday 3/1/16.  The link to the plan is:  http://wyowdc.wyo.gov/

Hard copies of the plan are available at the local Dept. of Workforce Services, Workforce Centers, or at the WCCC office at 2300 Capitol Avenue, Fifth Floor, Suite B, Cheyenne, WY.
